IT Trainee Crewe £NMW This position is an entry level role within the IT department, ideal for someone who would like to pursue a career in IT but does not necessarily have the usual educational experience or previous work experience. Essentially our client wants someone who can shadow their server guy and learn the ropes. This role will include working in a fast paced environment, supporting multiple clients through - Providing first line support for the IT department Completing Adhoc IT requests to support departments Assisting with day-to-day IT support issues around the company and server maintenance Working alongside departments and project managers to understand system issues and the best resolutions Working with other IT staff to articulate problems to provide long term solutions to problems Basic knowledge of networking & windows 7/8/10 Good written/verbal communication skills. A can-do positive, pro-active attitude and strong desire to learn. This role could also benefit a recent Graduate with a degree/HND. Someone with work experience in supporting ICT infrastructures and/or developing solutions utilising the following: SQL Server Visual Studio T-SQL and XML MS Exchange and Active Directory Qualifications and Skills: A demonstrable passion for IT Desire for continual learning in IT Strong communication skills and a desire to communicate regularly across the company The salary will be reviewed in 6-12 months and you can expect a considerable increase
