A Market Leading organization headquartered in Central London are seeking to recruit a confident, hands on and energetic Accounts Payable Manager. Having major international clients, the business have a turnover of £100m. This role is to lead 2 purchase ledger clerks and work with multiple currencies and entities in relation to all 12 countries in which the business operates. Accounts Payable Manager This is an very important position within the Accounts team, managing the AP function in a dynamic industry. • Managing and developing 3 Purchase ledger clerks • Processing and managing supplier invoice payments whilst adhering to approval rules • Staff expenses management ensuring compliance with business policy and processing for fortnightly payment runs • Purchase Ledger Management ensuring accuracy of data and timely resolution of item reconciliation and reporting deadlines. • Effective Supplier relationship management ensuring correct correspondence and reconciliation. • Strategically assisting to help streamline and improve processes. Working closely with stakeholders to ensure the AP functions continues to meet the demands of an ever-changing and dynamic international business. • Acting as the point of escalation for business and supplier related payment queries The ideal candidate will also demonstrate: - An ability to take a hand-on approach to the role and strives to improve processes - Previous experience of managing a team and achieving excellent results - Previous experience of working with multiple currencies and multiple entities • Strong organisational skills and attention to details • Excellent communication and customer service skills with both internal and external clients • Team-player and time management skills, with previous experience of developing and motivating a team Reed Specialist Recruitment Limited is an employment agency and employment business
