Diamond was recently accused of bullying his Kenyan counterparts during a concert held in Mombasa in recent times. One Mohammed Snu, suspected to be gay, was killed by his alleged partner, Mohammed Umar, in a hotel room in Garki, Abuja. According to Punch, the crime was carried out last Thursday, December 4, as the assaulter stabbed the victim multiple times in the ribs with a screw driver. Police are investigating after a body was found in the street Wednesday afternoon at Singleton Boulevard and Vilbig Road, Dallas, U.S.A, cbslocal.com reports. Witnesses told cbsloca.com that they saw a man scribble something in Spanish on his van.  He then tied one end of a rope around his neck and the other end around a fire hydrant. The man then drove off, decapitating himself.

A Delta High Court sitting at Asaba has sentenced the kidnappers of the wife of a former Ughelli South Local Government Council Chairman, Mrs. Elizabeth Otidi, to 51 years imprisonment. Daily Independent reports that three suspects were arrested and charged to court for kidnapping the woman. The names of the convicts were given as Kelly Ogun, a 33-year-old farmer, 35-year-old Udoji Peter, as well as 26-year-old taxi driver, Iloaria Jonathan. The convicts are to spend 17 years each behind the bars after been found guilty of the counts of conspiracy and kidnapping. They were reportedly sentenced seven years each on the count of conspiracy to commit kidnapping and 10 years each for the substantive offence of kidnapping. It was gathered that they were discharged on count three as the court ruled that prosecution failed to establish essential ingredients of the offence (demanding with menace) beyond reasonable doubts. Pope Francis today took part in a Muslim prayer with the Grand Mufti of Istanbul on his second leg of his three day visit to Turkey. Pope Francis was alongside theGrand Mufti side to side today and clasped his hands for a two minute silent prayer in the 17th-century Sultan Ahmet mosque, aiming to show respect for Islam and encourage stronger ties between the two faiths.   “May God accept it,”   Rahmi Yaran, the Grand Mufti of Istanbul told the pope at the end of the prayer. Lots of children and wellwishers waived Turkish and Vatican flags and chanted  “Long live Pope Francis”  as the pope cheerfully left the mosque.
