Your new role Reporting to the Diversity & Inclusion Manager in a team of three, you will be expected to support faculties and departments in implementing their 3 year action plans for the Athena SWAN Bronze and Silver awards. Alongside this, you will work with the Diversity & Inclusion Manager to ensure gender equality and Athena SWAN messages are communicated within all faculties efficiently. Furthermore, you will report on progress towards the strategy and accreditation and you will consistently build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organisation. As a Diversity & Inclusion Officer, you will be responsible for identifying policy and practice interventions that will have an important impact on all equality issues. What you'll need to succeed You will ideally have sound knowledge of EDI legislation/ Equality Act 2010/ good practice initiatives or experience of working towards an Equality Framework (Investors in Diversity)/ Athena SWAN Charter accreditation.
