JOB SUMMARY Responsible for dealing with all renewals, to achieve company targets in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements, with an element of underwriting and on-going support to the client. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Office based role which requires for all enquiries and renewals to be handled effectively by phone and/or email, in a compliant and timely manner • Respond to customer enquiries in a courteous and helpful manner and ensure that all information required by clients or underwriters is obtained and communicated • Discuss any additional covers to ensure that all insurance requirements are satisfied • Maintain awareness of all internal communications and of corporate direction, mission, aims and activities and understand and work within I-CARE values • Ensure Clements provides appropriate service and support for our Personal clients’ renewal insurance needs • Ensure all renewal calls are answered and other customer contact methods are responded to within agreed service levels and standards • Provide overflow for MTA calls and if needed, new business calls • Ensure we meet and exceed standards of conduct and compliance as defined and required by the FCA and set for/by Clements ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Inbound/Outbound Telesales experience is essential • To achieve individually set KPIs, to ensure the daily sales targets are met • Excellent telephone manner and ability to build rapport quickly • Good IT skills • Accurate and strong attention to detail • Ability to prioritise • Confident and professional • Show a strong focus towards professional standards • Be self-motivated and resilient with the ability to work independently • Excellent communication skills both written and oral • Be well organised, methodical, realistic and reliable • Team player with ability to flex requirements to meet the needs of the business • Show initiative and ability to problem solve • Be energetic and enthusiastic • Diplomacy and negotiation skills essential • Work accurately • Work well under pressure • Sales, Customer service and Conduct/Compliance experience gained within an insurance environment is essential, preferably including Personal Insurance technical knowledge • Worked with and have good working knowledge of Telephony (Avaya) and Insurance IT platforms COMPETENCIES The following competencies are required • Experience of the Open GI system • Excellent inter-personal/communication skills • Strong Inbound/Outbound Telesales skills and experience QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION Minimum 5 GCSEs at C-grade or equivalent plus appropriate experience Preferred Bachelors’ Degree or higher plus appropriate experience Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Issue insurance cover in accordance with company procedures
