Position Summary They are looking for an Insurance or Reinsurance professional with experience and technical knowledge of either major or commercial lines of business ideally working in a fiduciary capacity for a Broker or Underwriter. This is a progressive role and offers full end-to-end responsibility of a client portfolio as part of a global business that works with clients of all sizes to define, design and deliver innovative solutions to better quantify and manage risk. Responsible for cash accounting services for business transacted with Clients and Markets. Responsibility for assigned accounts; including the timely allocation of receipts and settlement of payable balances and internal record keeping associated with assigned fiduciary account records. There is a number of positions available for Fiduciary Technicians from entry level to experienced professionals within the Witham offices on a permanent or 23 month fixed term contract basis. Essential Job Responsibilities ·Manage an assigned portfolio of Market/Client accounts to ensure all deadlines are met and time sensitive activities are addressed within defined parameters including (but not limited to) cash allocation, collections of brokerage and billings alongside resolution of fiduciary exposures. ·Ability to work with accounts that are above the average level of complexity. ·Promptly issuing statements and collection of receivables alongside the payment of payable balances. ·Work to achieve personal cash processing and fiduciary targets to include the use of KPI's from the available dashboards. ·Frequent dialogue with Market/Client contacts to resolve issues related to payment and collections. You will also promote, build and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets. ·Provide detailed information on collection/remittance process for RFP's and sales opportunities. Skills & Qualifications ·University Degree or equivalent qualification appreciated. ·In the absence of the above, demonstrable experience working in a similar capacity within the Insurance sector would be advantageous. ·Knowledge of Reinsurance concepts, accounting principles and regulatory controls. ·Demonstrable track record of successful fiduciary account management, relationship management and development. ·Ability to manage own workload whilst managing expectations of all clients and stakeholders. ·Delivery of superior client service through strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, delivering clear and concise messages and at all times.
