There are many different body building techniques, each has its own advocated, but the truth is, there is no one particular technique that will work for everyone.

There are three main body types - Ectomorph, mesomorph and endomorph and depending on which body type you are will influence which body building techniques will work for you.

There is no magic pill that will allow any one technique to work for everyone, instead all it takes is trial and error. You have to continuously try different body building techniques to find out what works for you.





Ectomorphs are naturally skinny and are typically hard gainers. You know the type, these are the people who can seemingly eat whatever they want and never gain any weight. They tend to have long limbs and angular features.

Mesomorphs are naturally athletic and muscular. This is probably the body type that we would all wish to be. Mesomorphs gain muscle easily and have a V-shaped torso.

Endomorphs are stocky by nature, they find it hard to lose weight, but easy, like the mesomorph, to put on muscle. The normally have a protruding abdomen.



Although these are the three main body types, you can have a combination of body types.

So, whatever body type you are, you need to find out what works for you. Once you know what works and what does not, the key to building a great physique is sticking with it. Body building techniques do not work if you constantly chop and change your routine. Stay focused and you will have the physique you always knew was possible.
