The role of a Recruitmet Advisor at Avios is to support the external and internal recruitment process for Head Office departments (HO) and the Customer Contact Centre (CCC) including attraction, sourcing and selection, ensuring the right people are recruited at the right time with the right skills. To provide a seamless and efficient recruitment service, for candidates and Line Managers (LM), ensuring that the Avios employer brand is promoted throughout all stages of the recruitment process in line with the business strategy and company values. To support, train and coach LM's on best practice recruitment processes to ensure they have the tools and skills recruit effectively for their business area as well as delivering a professional candidate experience. What you will be doing… • Work in partnership with key stakeholders and LM's to plan recruitment activities & campaigns according to requirements • Design and deliver innovative and creative recruitment solutions ensuring we source, select and retain talent within Avios • Proactively source future talent using a range of attraction methods and cost-effective channels (including job boards, direct sourcing, networking and social media) • Ensure fair and consistent recruitment processes complying with employment legislation and company codes of conduct • Support LM's by providing best practice advice on the end-to-end recruitment processes, including JD's, attraction channels, short-listing and selection methods • Support LM's with short-listing candidates for interview/assessment centres • Support LM's with interviews as & when required (where applicable by campaign, role or grade) • Design and facilitate HO and CCC assessment centres (mainly CCC) • Manage recruitment agencies, maintaining effective relationships and ensuring the best candidates are sourced at competitive rates – working with Procurement to negotiate appropriate agency fees and terms of business • Support internal candidates with advice and feedback as & when required • Organise and attend open days, college/university presentations and careers fairs • Maintain recruitment MI - analyse & evaluate all recruitment activity on an ongoing basis (e.g. time to hire/offer, cost/budget analysis) as well as provide regular reports/updates to the business (weekly & quarterly) What we are looking for… • Customer focussed – ability to maintain and develop strong working relationships with the team, stakeholders and customers • Passionate about creating a positive candidate experience and exceeding customer expectations • Professional & positive attitude with ability to maintain confidentiality • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels, including presenting to large groups and training manager on recruitment skills • Confidence, credibility and experience to manage and influence senior stakeholders • Excellent attention to detail, organisation and planning skills – ability to prioritise work, work under pressure to tight deadlines • Strong team player, who can also work on own initiative • Self-motivated with strong drive & ability to manage and prioritise workloads and projects Skills, qualifications, expertise and experience • Previous recruitment experience essential (either in-house or recruitment agency) • Experience in sourcing direct candidates (at all levels) via multiple channels is essential • Experience in managing high volume recruitment campaigns from start to finish is essential (ideally Contact Centre) • Experience in supporting Head Office recruitment is desirable • Previous experience designing selection materials & running assessment centres is essential • Previous experience of using ATS on a daily basis (e.g. managing applicants, advertising, reporting) • Good understanding of employment law (specifically related to recruitment) and confident in dealing with all aspects of legislation relating to recruitment • Good understanding of HR policies and procedures • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Level A & Level B qualified (ability and psychometric tests) - preferred What we can offer you… • Annual salary of up to £27,000 depending on experience • Company bonus scheme of up to 22% of your salary each year • Company contributed pension • Private health care for self and family • After a qualifying period (currently 6 months), you will be eligible to unlimited standby and premium standby fares for you and your nominees on the full BA network and numerous other partner airlines • Exciting global travel industry discounts including flights with hotels, rail, cruises & tour operators also available through travel providers • Travel insurance (multi trip annual policy) • Childcare vouchers (tax free savings) • New joiner Avios/birthday Avios/thank you Avios • 25 days’ annual leave rising to 29 days depending on length of service • 2 days’ charity leave Want to know more this job and what skills/capabilities you require?
