TV on the Internet - More Consumers Are Searching For Entertainment Online [ad_1]

TV on the Internet is no longer a fantasy nor a technical and technological dream. As anything else from the real word, the virtual and digital universe of the web is now able to offer TV shows and video feeds, as well as any other technology available on line. Satellite, cable and even broadcast can easily be transported into the Internet and all of the major professionally produced content and TV networks are really engaged in finding the best way to take full advantage of the new medium.

The Internet is now fast, cross-cultural, cross-age and most, most important than that, it is hard to control, as literally any person in the word is free to log online their visions and their ideas. This opens to a completely different environment, as anyone from their garage can compete with major broadcasters, as for the first time in history, he / she has access, at least on paper, to the same amount of people and potential audience. If TV on the Internet can then be considered a new medium, chances are that soon enough it will be as popular as some of today's more used products. It is not clear yet how long it will take before currently used TV sets will be fully integrated with the internet, making it into a single piece of hardware.

TV on the Internet, although coming from different sources, should not be seen as something other than TV itself, because the approach should be the same, to favor a faster full merge of the hardware, for a better content and overall TV experience.
