Centred on the provision of on-the-go F&B this company offer varied services across their 5 divisions to deliver enhanced customer experiences for each of their diverse clients. With in-house divisions covering the provision of catering, event bars, full logistics, technologies and concessionaires management; they can offer bespoke, individual solutions or work seamlessly together to provide a full delivery service. Established since 1975 and originating as a family business; this company offers a fantastic culture and they take pride in providing support to develop staff to enable them to be the best they can be. They are now seeking and Operations Director to join their team; you will be given the chance to work within a fast paced and exciting environment, within a dynamic, close-knit and sociable team. THE ROLE Due to ongoing growth they are now looking for an Operations Director to join the team. Working specifically across one of their key divisions this is a broad role encompassing team management and strategic development. Key responsibilities will include: *Overseeing event delivery across the board for the division *Ensuring the team deliver a first class service for each client *Managing the strategic planning and evaluation of the division *Devising all operational policies and procedures to increase performance levels *Managing key supplier contracts and relationships *Resource planning and project allocation *Line managing and developing the team including appraisals and performance issues *Managing the division P&L and budget sign off for projects *Maximising the profitability of each event *Overseeing the effective management of the set-up, delivery and breakdown of events onsite THE CANDIDATE Candidates must have experience managing operations in an event-lead industry; ideally from a festival, AV, production, exhibition design & build or large scale venue environment. Experience in building key relationships, financial management, strategic development and leading a team are key requirements for this role. An understanding of hospitality and any qualifications within health & safety management (IOSH/NEBOSH) would be seen as an added benefit.
