A rapidly growing and established media events company are looking for a bright, enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join the finance team in a new role. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for providing overall support of for the day to day running of the Accounts Receivable function. The role will include: Maintaining and control of age debtor list and monitoring accounts. Cash Management; Bank recs, reconciling petty cash, updating cashflow Dealing with Sales revenue spreadsheet Chasing deposits prior to events and producing final payment invoices Weekly billings, Internal invoicing, Commission invoices sign off Contacting clients by phone & email to ensure efficient & timely payment of accounts Adhoc reports and projects The role will be dealing with some high profile clients and you will need to build and maintain ongoing relationships with clients and suppliers alike. This will require excellent communication & interpersonal skills, a confident and outgoing personality and a hardworking, assertive work ethic. You will have a solid grounding in accounts, ideally gained as an Accounts Assistant within small to medium sized companies, covering AR/AP and are used to dealing with clients over the phone. You will also require a good level of MS Excel skills and have an aptitude for numbers, as well as being able to build relationships with key clients.
