Production Assembly Engineer - Electro-Mechanical Machinery With 2 new products coming into production next year my client, who design and manufacture bespoke machinery are seeking two Production Assembly Technicians to join the manufacturing team. This will initially be on a 6 month contract, based close to Cambridge however the client has been growing substantially over the last 3 years so is likely to be longer. The role As a Mechanical Build Technician you will be working from drawings to assemble electro-mechanical machinery using a variety of tools, including various sub-assemblies. The Machinery has a variety of rotating parts, such as motors and operates on a 5 axis so strong mechanical assembly skills are required. Knowledge of the electrical side is helpful but not an essential. Experience Previous experience working as a Build Technician with a strong Mechanical background. Able to read and understand engineering drawings. Basic electrical knowledge to route wiring harnesses. A problem solving attitude and able to work in a team environment.
