Marketing, Communications and BD Manager for Engineering Design Practice An award winning engineering + design practice are seeking a confident Marketing Communications and BD Manager to join their lively team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the built environment and a wealth of experience working in a similar role, with the ability to implement a marketing strategy to meet growth targets. Key Responsibilities: General Research, advise, liaise and compile bids, tenders and framework applications Devise and implement the marketing strategy in conjunction with the marketing director Manage and calculate the marketing budget Research impact of marketing activities and report results Organise events and seminars Brand management Organise design, production and distribution of promotional material Assist in development and maintenance of practice website Client development Research new business and report findings Encourage key staff to attend related networking / industry events Communicate the importance of client service and individual marketing strategies to staff Manage and maintain client database Network with relevant organisations, clients and counterparts Internal / External Communications Keep event lists and social pages up to date Work with Administration team to ensure templates are up to date Take marketing meeting minutes and reports Manage all press and any publicity Key Skills: Experience working in a marketing role within construction, architecture, design or creative industry Enthusiasm for design in the build environment Self-starter and confident communicator with ability to motivate others Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent time management and organisation skills Creative, design flair and copy writing ability Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Ability to work across different teams and delegate team members Advanced in Microsoft Office, InDesign, Photoshop Knowledge of HTML or Dreamweaver is an advantage Please get in touch to hear more about the role.
